PayPerBill - Terms and conditions

By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. We are offering you this app to use for your own personal use without cost, but you should be aware that you cannot send it on to anyone else, and you’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to PayPerBill.

PayPerBill is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.

App data

Your profile information and attached KYC documents should be authentic. In case of a you not providing valid KYC documents, PayPerBill has the right to decline the profile.

The app holds the right at its entire discretion, to decline any user. PayPerBill is collecting various personal information like contact number, name, last name etc. and PayPerBill ensures that this information is only collected to enrich the use of the application.

PayPerBill allows you to collect information of your customers/payers. PayPerBill does not hold the responsibility of any loss , direct or indirect, to you or your customers in case of providing incorrect data.

PayPerBill allows you to store customer information like email, phone number etc. PayPerBill ensures that your customer information is private and only visible to you but, PayPerBill is not responsible in case of misuse of any of this data collected by you. Usurping the identity of an individual or of an entity is strictly forbidden.

Usage requirements

You should be aware that there are certain things that PayPerBill will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app, such as the ability to download and store data and send bills to customers will all require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but PayPerBill cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.

If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.

You should also remember that the app’s purpose is to make bill generation more convenient for you, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is calculated and correct at all times, we do rely on you to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. PayPerBill accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, to you as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.

At some point we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android – the requirements for both systems (and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. PayPerBill does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.

Payment Terms

PayPerBill is the platform on which the customers will complete their payments, thus it holds the rights and control over all the payment transactions taking place on the platform. Please read the following terms carefully -

Thus, PayPerBill can be treated as a single point of contact for all the payment related support to customers/ merchants. help@payperbill.in will be available for support during all business days.

PayPerBill will collect financial information such as account number and IFSC code only to collect payments online securely. PayPerBill is not responsible for the loss of payment in case of providing incorrect financial information.

Customers/Payers will have access to the payment functions of the payment partners through links on PayPerBill’ s website or apps. These links / API integrations will initiate a payment or request by pre-populating some information (such as email address, phone number, amount or notes) as part of payments completed on a the bank's payment system, similar to an email “mailto” link. You agree to abide by the terms of service of any payment partner/ bank linked to by PayPerBill.

Refund is only valid if the amount is debited from the customer’s account in case of a failed transaction. In such case of a refund, PayPerBill will initiate the refund and will be completed within 10 business days.

In case of refund required because of incorrect bill generation or incorrect data, customer may raise a complaint with PayPerBill (help@payperbill.in) or the respective vendor. In either case, PayPerBill will initiate a refund, if deemed suitable after reviewing the situation.

In case of a cancelled/failed transaction by a customer, PayPerBill will initiate a refund post reviewing the case.

PayPerBill will disburse all payments to account information given by you, within 5 business days. PayPerBill will deduct its own service charges in addition to payment gateway charges that will already be deducted by the payment services as per their terms and conditions. PayPerBill service which differ as per the type of business it supports. PayPerBill is not responsible in case of bank transaction charges are changed.

PayPerBill can also change the service charges on its sole discretion with a prior notification to all the users.
